ARCHER FARRAR WINS AT THE CLEAN + CONSCIOUS AWARDS 2026

I’m absolutely thrilled to share that Archer Farrar has received four accolades at the 2026 Clean + Conscious Awards, with both of our entries receiving a medal as well as an Editor’s Choice Award.

Embrace Body Oil – GOLD + Editor’s Choice
Peony Cologne – SILVER + Editor’s Choice

The Clean + Conscious Awards are judged by an expert panel of respected voices from across the beauty industry, making this recognition particularly meaningful. Alongside the main awards, founder Emily also selects one personal standout from each category for an Editor’s Choice Award, and I was delighted that both Embrace Body Oil and Peony Cologne received this additional recognition.

These awards mean so much to me. Every Archer Farrar product is formulated and handcrafted by me in the studio using only whole botanical ingredients, so to have this work recognised amongst so many wonderful Australian brands is enormously rewarding.

Thank you, as always, for supporting Archer Farrar and allowing me to continue doing what I love!

What the judges had to say…

Embrace Body Oil – Gold and Editor’s Choice, Best Body Oil Category

“What I liked most about this body oil is how refined and luxurious it feels in both texture and sensory experience. It absorbs beautifully into the skin, leaving it soft, nourished and naturally radiant without heaviness. The fragrance is exceptional, complex, elegant and perfume-like, making it feel more like a luxury scent ritual than a traditional body oil. The packaging is also stunning and it feels like a beautifully considered gift experience, adding to the overall sense of craftsmanship and intention. I’m impressed by the brand’s strong commitment to transparency, craftsmanship and natural perfumery principles. There is a clear philosophy of working in alignment with nature, with full ingredient disclosure, traceability back to origin, and a focus on ethically and sustainably sourced botanical materials. The brand demonstrates thoughtful sustainability practices through refillable packaging, glass containers, minimal plastics and paper based shipping materials, alongside a genuine commitment to reducing environmental impact. I also value their ethical working structure, local production in Sydney, and openness about being a small scale atelier with a transparent and values led approach to business.” Natalia Sellars

“The true beauty of this product is that it’s both a body oil and a perfume in one. The scent is absolutely divine – soft and feminine – and applying it feels like a genuine self-care ritual rather than simply moisturising my skin. It leaves my winter skin feeling deeply hydrated and nourished, while the fragrance lingers gently throughout the day. A beautiful product that I find myself looking forward to using. What impressed me most about Archer Farrar is the deep respect for nature that sits at the heart of the brand. From fully transparent ingredient lists and sustainably sourced botanicals to refillable packaging and support of local community fundraisers, every decision feels deeply intentional. I also love that the founder is committed to educating consumers and helping them better understand the art of natural perfumery.” Emma Freeman

“For me, this oil has the best scent of all. I became obsessed with the fragrance. It’s ideal for those looking for a lighter oil. The values of being transparent and honest with consumers, as well as being vegan and sustainable, made me fall in love with the brand. Without a doubt, I will continue to support the company in my future purchases.” Iasmim Neery

Peony Cologne – Silver and Editor’s Choice, Best natural perfume – Floral

“What I liked most about this fragrance is the overall sense of luxury from the moment you experience it. The scent feels elegant and expensive, with a beautifully layered floral profile that unfolds in a natural and refined way on the skin. The bottle and packaging feel considered and elevated, adding to the ritual of using it and making the experience feel special and gift-like. There is a real sense of craftsmanship in both the fragrance and presentation, which makes it feel inviting and desirable to wear. I’m impressed by the brand’s commitment to natural perfumery as a craft discipline, with full ingredient transparency and a strong emphasis on botanical sourcing and traceability. The Sydney atelier model reflects a small-scale, hands-on production approach that prioritises quality, intention and minimal waste rather than mass production. I also value the refillable philosophy and use of recyclable materials, alongside a clear openness in how ingredients, processes and sourcing decisions are communicated. Overall, the brand demonstrates a deeply considered approach to ethical fragrance making, where craftsmanship and environmental awareness are closely linked.” Natalie Sellars:

“The bold, black glass bottle is stylish and sophisticated and leaves you intrigued about the fragrance inside. Peony Cologne opens with a fresh brightness before settling into a beautifully balanced scent with a soft warmth that lingers (in all the right ways) throughout the day. It’s one of those rare fragrances that’s difficult to describe, but is unmistakably special. Archer Farrar is a thoughtful, small-batch brand with very strong transparency and ethical sourcing. I absolutely love their refillable packaging and that they encourage clients to go back to the studio to have their bottles refilled rather than reorder new packaging. Amazing!” Dom Scott

“I absolutely love the delightful top note of this fragrance. The sweet peony rose of this cologne immediately draws you in, in the most luscious way. The packaging and bottle design is a cute and compact ten out of ten. It’s refreshing to find a fragrance that’s as thoughtful about people and the planet as it is about running a successful business. I admire Archer Farrar’s commitment to doing business in genuinely responsible ways. The Peony Cologne is made with mostly organic, naturally derived ingredients, is free from animal-derived products, and the brand is transparent about where every ingredient comes from. I also love how they encourage customers to refill their bottles instead of buying new ones, which reduces waste in general. The notion that they use mostly glass packaging to cut down on plastic also won me over. It means a lot that they support Australian suppliers wherever they can, and give back to local schools and community groups through fundraising initiatives.” Nina Gbor
